Gigabyte has a massive presence at Gamescom this year

The halls at Gamescom 2017 are about the same size of a massive supermarket and as is the case with most events, some companies have a larger presence than others. This year we were particularly impressed by Gigabyte, as the company has taken up a big chunk of Hall 10 with its stand.

The front of Gigabyte's stand this year is set up for a major Pro VS Pro gaming event later today. Meanwhile, other parts of the stand include a VR racing section for attendees, a bunch of Overclockers UK gaming systems as well as a slew of laptop setups featuring retro controllers.

Those of us in the UK only get a few rare opportunities to get hands-on time with this much cool kit in one place, which helps Gamescom stand out as a unique experience. It is very much a consumer-oriented event nowadays, with lots space to try out games and new tech.

KitGuru Says: Having looked around the halls today, we are a little jealous that Gamescom doesn't run in the UK.
