During CES earlier this year, we got a sneak peek at the Phanteks P500A chassis. At the time, we were expecting a Q3 launch and now, it looks like the time has arrived, with Phanteks' airflow-focused case appearing at retail. 

The Phanteks P500A is now listed at Spanish tech retailer, PC Componentes, giving us a bit more insight into the features of the case. This includes details like liquid cooling, the number of HDDs/SSDs that can be installed and more.

Featuring a mesh front panel, the P500A allows more air to get into your system while filtering the dust that might get inside. The P500A has dust filters included for the front panel, top, and on the bottom. Additionally, the system's cable management and routing are made easier through multiple features and tools included in the case.

The ARGB edition has 3x 140mm ARGB fans included on the front panel, while the standard P500A has a 140mm fan on the rear and another one on the front. The PSU shroud of the P500A ARGB also has an RGB strip that can be synchronised with other lights in your case via motherboard RGB software.

The Phanteks P500A chassis supports up to 3x 140/120mm fans on the front, 1x 140/120mm on the rear, and 3x 120mm fans or 2x 140mm fans on the top. Supported radiators on the front can be up to 420mm, while the roof of the case supports radiators up to 360mm. On the rear, you are limited to a 140mm or 120mm radiator.

These cases support E-ATX (up to 280mm wide), ATX, micro-ATX, and mini-ITX motherboards. There are a 10x expansion slots, from which 3 are vertical, and you can mount up to 13x 2.5-inch drives or 10x 3.5-inch drives. GPUs as long as 435mm will fit, as will power supplies up to 250mm long if the drive cage is removed. If you keep the drive cage, your PSU will need to be 195mm or less. If you are an air-cooler user, then you'll be able to fit anything that is 190mm tall or under.

According to the listing, the standard, non-ARGB version of the Phanteks P500A will be €99, while the ARGB version will be €129. We should start to see the case popping up at other stores and in other countries soon.
