Studio behind LA Noire Remaster and VR spin-off working on a Triple A project for Rockstar

Video Games Deluxe, a small studio based in Sydney, Australia, has revealed its next project- which is already sounding very exciting. The studio previously worked with Rockstar on the L.A. Noire franchise, helping remaster the game for current gen consoles and also developing L.A Noire: The VR Case Files for PC. Now, the team is working with Rockstar once again, this time on a much bigger VR title.

Video Games Deluxe Sydney began recruiting for new job openings this week, calling for those interesting in working on “a AAA open world title in VR for Rockstar”. Of course, Rockstar itself has not announced anything at this time, but the groundwork is underway.

Open positions for this “ground breaking project” include Senior Programmers, an Engine Programmer as well as designers and animators. Whether or not this project will have anything to do with L.A. Noire remains to be seen.

While VGD has worked on L.A. Noire in the past, it is also worth noting that VR strings were found a while back in Red Dead Redemption 2, thanks to the efforts of data miners.
