Thermal Grizzly has introduced a new version of its WireView Pro II GPU power‑monitoring device, this time built in collaboration with Noctua. The WireView Pro II Noctua Edition retains the full monitoring feature set of the original model but swaps in a redesigned cooling assembly based around Noctua’s NF‑A4x10 fan and an enlarged CNC‑machined housing.
The WireView Pro II platform is designed for graphics cards using the 12V‑2×6 connector, offering per‑pin current measurement to detect uneven load distribution or faulty contacts early. Alongside current, the device continuously tracks voltage, temperature and total power consumption. If limits are exceeded, users receive on‑screen warnings and audible alerts, and an included splitter cable can trigger an automatic system shutdown. All monitoring data is logged internally, and optional PC software provides additional configuration and analysis tools.
The Noctua Edition focuses on thermal behaviour. Thermal Grizzly has replaced the standard cooling setup with a larger aluminium housing, a dedicated cooling plate and Noctua’s frameless NF‑A4x10 PWM fan. According to internal testing, the fan remains inactive at GPU loads up to 300W in cases with internal temperatures above 40°C. At higher loads, the fan operates below 2000rpm and reduces connector temperatures by roughly 3°C compared to the standard model, while keeping noise levels low.
As with the original WireView Pro II, the Noctua Edition is available in Normal and Reversed connector orientations to accommodate different GPU layouts and cable‑routing needs. A 90‑degree adapter is also included for cleaner installation. The TFT‑IPS display features a Noctua‑themed layout and can be rotated depending on mounting position.
Thermal Grizzly continues to offer its extended two‑year warranty covering damage to 12VHPWR and 12V‑2×6 connectors, provided the usual conditions are met. The WireView Pro II Noctua Edition is available now for $189.90/€189.90.
