Lian Li unveils L-shaped Edge V2 power supply series with updated USB hubs

Lian Li has announced its Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2 PSUs, along with the updated Edge Hub V2. Built specifically for dual-chamber chassis, the L-shaped PSUs range from 850W to 1350W capacity and include internal USB expansion hubs managed through L-Connect 3.

All models share matching dimensions of 182x86x150mm and use an outward connector orientation that routes cables directly into a secondary case chamber. All Edge Gold V2 and the Edge Platinum V2 1000W and 1200W configurations come bundled with the Edge Hub V2, which offers four USB ports and six PWM fan headers. The 1350W Edge Platinum V2 includes the Edge Hub ADV with thermal monitoring instead.

Cable specs differ between the tiers. Gold V2 models use flat cables, while Platinum V2 units feature individually braided cables with pre-installed combs and dual-colour 12V-2×6 connectors. The flagship 1350W Platinum V2 adds shorter 20+4-pin and 12V-2×6 cables, plus a thermal-sensing GPU cable that routes straight to the Edge Hub ADV. Other features include removable magnetic dust filters on every model, with Platinum V2 units incorporating an internal LED that turns red after 360 hours of fan runtime.

Pricing starts at $99.99 for the 850W Edge Gold V2, while the 1000W Edge Platinum V2 begins at $164.99.

KitGuru says Lian Li is one of the few companies offering these L-shaped PSUs, which can be quite handy in some cases. Have you ever owned one?
