The best ‘Powered by MSI’ gaming PCs

If you are shopping around for a pre-built gaming desktop at the moment then we have some recommendations for you! Recently, MSI rolled out a new line-up of ‘Powered by MSI' gaming systems across different vendors like CyberPowerPC, Storm Force, OCUK and more.

MSI has introduced a new “Powered by MSI” certification system for pre‑built gaming PCs in the UK, giving buyers a clear indication of how many MSI components are used inside each system. There are benefits to utilising one company for as many parts as possible, as MSI says products across the ecosystem are designed and tested to work well together. It also helps that you would only have to go through one support channel for claims should anything go wrong.

The programme is split into three tiers. MSI Essential is the entry level, applied to systems that include at least an MSI motherboard and graphics card. MSI Advanced raises the requirement to four or more MSI components, still including the motherboard and GPU as mandatory parts. At the top is MSI Ultimate, which is reserved for builds that use an MSI motherboard, graphics card, power supply, CPU cooler, PC case and SSD, ensuring a fully branded MSI configuration.

These certification badges now appear on pre‑built systems sold through MSI’s UK retail partners, including the likes of AWD‑IT, Overclockers UK, CyberPowerPC, Stormforce and Novatech, all of which now label qualifying systems with the appropriate MSI tier.

MSI Essential:

For MSI Essential, there are a few builds to keep an eye out for. AWD‑IT’s Mesh Ryzen 7 5700X system combines an MSI A520M‑A PRO motherboard with an MSI GeForce RTX 5070 VENTUS 2X OC, alongside 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and an MSI MAG A650BN power supply for £1,299.99.

Overclockers UK offers a more modern AM5 option with the Gaming Mach 3.2, built around an MSI B840M‑P WIFI6E motherboard and MSI RTX 5070 OC, paired with a Ryzen 7 7500X3D, 32GB of RAM and an MSI Spatium M450 SSD for £1,699.99.

Stormforce’s Midnight Pro AMD PBM steps into high‑end territory with an MSI RTX 5080, an MSI X870 WIFI motherboard and a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, supported by 64GB of DDR5 and a 2TB SSD for £3,499.99.

The Arctic Ultra Intel PBM offers a similar configuration on the Intel side, featuring an MSI RTX 5080 White GPU and a Z790 motherboard paired with a Core i7‑14700KF, priced at £2,799.99.
