Wardogs has surpassed 3 million copies sold

Bulkhead announced that its new tactical first-person shooter, Wardogs, surpassed three million copies sold within 18 days of its Early Access launch on September 10th. The title recorded a peak of 428,666 concurrent players on Steam three days after release and currently maintains daily peaks of around 300,000.

Sales milestones came quickly for the studio, with Wardogs reaching one million copies sold on day one, two million by day six, and three million by day 18. This performance makes it Bulkhead's most successful launch to date, far outperforming its previous multiplayer title, Battalion 1944, which sold 250,000 copies in 11 days.

The 100-player tactical FPS pits three teams against each other over control zones across a 256km² destructible map. After three years in development before its February reveal, the title entered Early Access earlier this month. Players seem to be liking the game, earning a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, placing it among Steam's current top five most-played games, and earning a nomination for Best Early Access Game 2026 at the Golden Joystick Awards. Bulkhead is now preparing Season 02 for launch on October 15th.

KitGuru says: For a new IP, three million sales in under three weeks is mighty impressive. Given how well things are going, we wouldn't be surprised to see it hit another sales milestone in the next month or so.
