Turok: Origins showcased at Gamescom Opening Night Live

During Gamescom Opening Night Live, Saber Interactive and Universal revealed the new story trailer for Turok: Origins, giving us a fresh look at the return of this classic series. 

Turok: Origins is positioned as a modern evolution of the classic dinosaur‑hunting series. Players join the mystical Order of the Turok, guardians wielding immense power in a war for survival against ferocious dinosaurs and a new alien threat known as the Xenia. The story takes place in the Lost Lands, where humanity faces extinction and the Order must fight to preserve what remains.

The game features both first‑person and third‑person modes, allowing players to unleash devastating attacks with a wide arsenal of futuristic weapons, from plasma rifles and snipers to bows, shotguns and experimental alien weapons. Players can also harness Turok powers by collecting Echoes, unlocking abilities that enhance combat style and provide new tactical options.

Turok: Origins supports solo play and online co‑op, enabling players to tackle missions together as they battle dinosaurs, alien forces and large boss encounters. The Lost Lands span dense jungles, ancient ruins, alien biomes and hidden areas filled with secrets, forming the backdrop for a high‑stakes adventure.

Turok: Origins will be launching on PC via Steam and Epic Games, as well as on PS5 and Xbox. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also planned for a later date.
