Final Fantasy 7 Revelation was finally revealed to the world just a few months ago. Now at Gamescom, a new trailer for the final chapter in the FF7 Remake trilogy has revealed a Spring 2027 release window, this time for all platforms on day one, avoiding the timed exclusivity of the first two games.
While Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth initially launched as PlayStation exclusives, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will be a multiplatform game from day-one. The new trailer gives us a new look at the adventure ahead, as Cloud and company look to put a stop to Sephiroth and Shinra for good.
The trailer shows off new monsters, both big and small, and appears to confirm airship travel, getting us all away from that rickety plane in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
There is no exact release date for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation just yet, but Spring 2027 would put its release somewhere between March and June.
KitGuru Says: Fans have been waiting for the finale to this trilogy for many years now, as it has been nearly a decade since Final Fantasy 7 Remake was first announced. It is also great to see that all platforms will be included on day-one this time around, removing the needless wait many of us had for the first two titles.
