Razer is expanding its Huntsman V3 Pro lineup once again, this time introducing a compact 60% model. The new Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz brings the full analogue optical feature set to a smaller form factor, alongside true 8000Hz HyperPolling.
Built around Razer's Analog Optical Switches Gen-2, the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz board features Rapid Trigger and an adjustable actuation range from 0.1mm to 4.0mm. Razer claims these switches deliver true 0.1mm precision alongside a 100-million-keystroke lifespan. Each switch comes individually lubricated and sits on a sound-dampening foam layer.
Its 8000Hz HyperPolling mode delivers a reported 0.48ms latency, operating eight times faster than standard 1000Hz keyboards. The board also supports Razer’s full Advanced Input Control suite, including Snap Flex, Snap Tap, Dynamic Keystroke and Dual‑Keypress Priority. Users can adjust actuation height and Rapid Trigger sensitivity directly from the number row and save up to six profiles to onboard memory. Browser‑based configuration is available through Synapse Web for setups without local software.
The Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8Khz is available starting this week, directly through the Razer store, priced at £179.99/$179.99/€189.99.
KitGuru says: Compact 60% keyboards aren't for everyone, but competitive players who prefer this layout may find Razer's new Huntsman V3 Mini to be a compelling option.
