Ajazz has introduced its new AM5 magnesium‑alloy wireless gaming mouse, weighing around 52g and equipped with a PAW3950 sensor, tri‑mode connectivity and an 8kHz wireless polling option.
According to ITHome, the AM5 uses a magnesium‑alloy shell finished with a high‑temperature baking process and measures 117.92×61.95×39.24mm. Inside, a Nordic nRF52840 controller pairs with a PAW3950APEX‑AJ sensor supporting up to 42,000 DPI. The main buttons use Omron optical switches rated for 70 million clicks.
Connectivity includes wired USB, Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4GHz wireless. Using the included 8K receiver, the mouse can operate at an 8kHz polling rate with 0.125ms latency. A 350mAh internal battery is rated for up to 126 hours of use at a 1kHz polling rate. Colour options include white, black and a blue‑purple gradient finish.
The Ajazz AM5 is now available in China for 499 yuan (around £56).
KitGuru Says: A 52g magnesium frame, PAW3950 sensor and 8kHz wireless mode make the AM5 a notably well‑specced lightweight mouse at this price.
