Razer announces Basilisk V4 gaming mouse lineup and Mouse Dock V2 Pro

Razer has announced the Basilisk V4 lineup alongside the Mouse Dock V2 Pro wireless charging dock. The lineup includes the new flagship Basilisk V4 Pro and a more mainstream version, the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed.

With 14 customizable controls, the V4 Pro variant weighs 100g and adds an M1 edge button and a third side button to its repositioned multi-function trigger. Razer equips the device with its Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, offering up to 50,000DPI tracking speed, 930IPS, and 90G acceleration. Underneath the housing, Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 deliver a 100 million-click rating. Scroll functions rely on the HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2, which features 24-step tactile, 48-step precision tactile, free-spin mode, and a smart-reel mode that changes between tactile and free spin based on the scroll speed.

Wireless connectivity uses HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 or Bluetooth 6.2, with wired mode for five-way device switching. Battery life reaches up to 200 hours on 1000Hz wireless and up to 275 hours on Bluetooth. Visuals feature a 7-zone Chroma RGB lighting layout with full underglow. Launching alongside the flagship, the Mouse Dock V2 Pro adds magnetic wireless charging and serves as an integrated 8000Hz transceiver. Razer also introduced the 94g Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed, featuring a Focus X 33K sensor and up to 140 hours of battery life.

Both models are now available, with the HyperSpeed model costing £169.99/$169.99/€179.99 and the V4 Pro model costing £109.00/$109.99/€119.99.

KitGuru says: Upgrading the Basilisk V4 Pro with an 8000Hz wireless polling rate, a 50,000DPI sensor, and modular dock charging gives Razer's ergonomic flagship a comprehensive specs refresh.
