Pulsar reveals X5 ergonomic mouse at TGS

Pulsar has showcased the X5 at the Tokyo Game Show, a new lightweight ergonomic gaming mouse aimed at users with larger hands. Early hands‑on impressions from the show floor suggest the mouse weighs around 62g, while retaining a palm-friendly shape.

The mouse first appeared in photos shared by @jakeufps (via TechPowerUp). The X5 uses an open‑bottom chassis to reduce weight while keeping the top and side panels solid, which is a notable choice given how many lightweight mice rely on perforated shells. The prototype also includes an additional thumb button alongside the usual two side buttons.

Pulsar has yet to share official details on internal specifications, dimensions, pricing, or release timing. It is also unclear if the model shown at TGS will closely match the final retail version, so that 62g weight figure could potentially change.

As always with early show‑floor reveals, we’ll need to wait for Pulsar’s formal announcement before we know exactly where the X5 will sit within the company’s wider lineup.

KitGuru says: This style of mouse has always been a popular choice, although ambidextrous mice tend to grab more headlines nowadays.
