DOOM, Diablo and more crossing over with Call of Duty

For the past few years Call of Duty has followed the footsteps of many other live service titles when it comes to crossing over with different franchises, brands and even real-life people. The latest upcoming addition to the ever-growing roster of skins will see characters from DOOM, Diablo, Evil Dead and more come into Modern Warfare II / Warzone.

As reported by COD-focused publication CharlieINTEL, the upcoming 6th Season of Modern Warfare II / Warzone will see a whole host of licensed characters be available to purchase as operator bundles – namely:

  • Spawn
  • Inarius (Diablo)
  • Lilith (Diablo)
  • Skeletor (Overlord of Evil)
  • Ash Williams (Evil Dead 2)
  • Alucard (Hellsing)

Additionally, CharlieINTEL shared a promotional image for a DOOM x Call of Duty weapon tracer pack, which will see DOOMGUY’s iconic chainsaw and double barrelled shotgun available in-game. Currently, it is unknown whether the DOOMSLAYER himself will appear as an operator skin – though the chances are likely.

In the past year we have seen an abundance of characters and even real life people come into Call of Duty, including but not limited to: Homelander, Starlight, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, Shredder and Lara Croft.
