Nvidia launches Game Ready driver for Just Cause and Rainbow Six

Nvidia is continuing its run of Game Ready WHQL certified drivers for all of the big PC releases this holiday season. This week, a new driver launched for Just Cause 3 from Avalanche Studios/Square Enix and Rainbow Six: Siege from Ubisoft. Being a game ready driver, the aim here is to implement specific optimizations for the titles mentioned.

Aside from that though, there is also a bug fix for those who found Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 crashing on Nvidia hardware on Windows Vista, 7 and 8.1.

For those who don't know, Just Cause 3 is the latest game from Avalanche Studios. You play the role of Rico, whose job is to liberate areas of the huge game world and cause lots of explosions in the process.

On the other side of things, we have Rainbow Six: Siege, which is a PvP team-focussed tactical shooter. It is basically Ubisoft's take on Counter-Strike but with a little more depth in to certain mechanics, like gadgets, traps, ect.

KitGuru Says: Some were worried about the state of Rainbow Six: Siege, given its massively late open beta, which only took place last week and actually suffered a delay due to matchmaking issues. However, things seem to be going okay for the final release. Just Cause 3 is also pretty solid in my own experience. Be on the lookout as we will have a PC port review for that later this week.
