GOG’s summer sale has kicked off

If you are looking to boost your DRM-free game library, then you might want to keep an eye on GOG over the next little while as the store's summer sale kicked off yesterday, with new bundles and daily ‘highlight' deals, which for today include 50 percent off the Witcher 3 and Homeworld Remastered.

There is also a daily game give away for those who have downloaded the GOG Galaxy client. We are currently on Day 2 of the sale and today's free game for Galaxy users is System Shock 2.

Other notable deals include 75 percent off the Metro Redux games, 40 percent off of Kerbal Space Program, 75 percent off of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and plenty more. There is also a bunch of bundles available for certain game series, including classic Star Wars titles, D&D remakes, S.T.A.L.K.E.R and X-Com.

KitGuru Says: GOG has gained a lot of popularity thanks to its consumer friendly approach. The sale looks pretty good too so it is definitely worth checking out to see if there is anything you want to pick up.
