MSI launches Codex R 10th gaming desktops

MSI has launched its new Codex R 10th gaming desktops that are equipped with 10th Generation Intel Core processors and Nvidia graphics. Specific models also include the Clutch GM11 mouse and Vigor GK30 keyboard.

Not everyone builds their own PCs, and MSI is catering for those looking for a prebuilt system with its new Codex R 10th gaming machine. As per most prebuilt systems, there's more than one configuration available – MSI specifically lists two options, the Codex R 10SC-002US and the Codex R 10SI-003US.

The Codex R 10SC-002US is the more powerful of the two and comes equipped with a 10th Gen Intel i7-10700F CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU and 16GB DDR4 memory. Meanwhile, the Codex R 10SI-003US is fitted with an Intel Core i5-10400F, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super and 8GB of DDR4 memory. Aside from those key specs, the two systems are otherwise identical.

The desktops also ship with WiFi 6 support, for speeds up to 2.4Gbps, and MSI claims WiFi 6 also has ‘75% lower' latency than ‘the previous generation'. Additionally, there is support for RGB lighting via the two included fans and the proprietary CPU cooler.

Pricing and availability is yet to be disclosed. More details can be found on MSI's product page HERE.
