Pros

  • Lots of cable choices.
  • Nice hard-shell case.
  • Nice visual and tactile textures.
  • Headset lights up.
  • 3.5mm sound was great for music.
  • The mic is good quality.

Cons

  • No lights when using 3.5mm cable.
  • Cups are not really that thick.
  • The fit wasn’t that great around my ears.
  • DSP sound card was disappointing and also gets a little warm with use.
  • Couldn’t really get a good sound for gaming.
  • Volume dial was temperamental.

Rating: 7.

KitGuru says: The PRECOG headset is OK all round, the dedicated DSP soundcard was disappointing in terms of sound quality but the Hi-Res Audio-certified 3.5mm option was great. The Primer mouse will get the job done and it does have a good sensor, but the rough edges and an overall budget design left us wanting more.
