Forza to get more cars and dozens of improvements in new update

Forza Horizon 5 launched to great success late last year, with both fans and critics alike praising the latest iteration of the arcade racing sub-series. The team at Playground Games have not been resting on their laurels however as a new update is arriving with dozens of improvements.

Making the announcement on their support website, the Forza Team detailed the latest upcoming patch for Forza Horizon 5. Set to go live on the 29th of March, this update will bring with it a whole host of improvements, fixes and new content, including:

  • Horizon Open has been updated with a new progression system including Badges which can be unlocked through gameplay
  • Added Custom Racing to Horizon Open, which will allow players to find races for their chosen race discipline and PI class
  • Added Gravity Action to Rules of Play which allows players to manipulate Gravity in EventLab creations
  • Drift Club is being added to Mexico

In total, there are more than 3 dozen changes and fixes making for an overall smoother and more pleasant experience. Perhaps even more exciting however is the addition of new cars. ‘Series 6’ of Forza Horizon 5 will bring with it 9 new cars, namely:

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400; 2012 Ascari KZ1R; 2021 McLaren 765LT Coupe; 2018 ATS GT; 2014 McLaren 650S Spider; 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado; 2021 McLaren 620R; 2021 McLaren 620R; 2021 MINI John Cooper Works GP and the 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster.

The Forza Horizon series has always been a fan favourite for Xbox and PC players. Playground Games’ continued support for this latest entry is proving exactly why that is the case. The full list of changes, fixes and additions can be found HERE.
