AOC is bringing its 24-inch QHD gaming monitor to Europe

The Chinese gaming monitor market has seen impressive sales figures for the Q24G2 thanks to its unusually high pixel density. As such, AOC has decided to bring a variant of its popular 23.8-inch 1440p gaming display to the European market. This variant is named Q24G2A, and unlike the original, it has stereo speakers.

Thanks to its QHD resolution and 24-inch diagonal size, the AOC Q24G2(A) offers a pixel density of 123 PPI. Over in China, the sales figures for this monitor suggest gamers like higher resolutions in a small display, likely due to how sharp things can look with increased PPI. After seeing the success of their monitor in China, as noted by PCGamer, AOC has decided to bring a similar monitor to the European market. We don't know if the company will release a similar model to the US market.

The Western version of the Q24G2 model has been updated with internal stereo speakers and shares the same chassis as the widely known 24G2U. The Q24G2A/BK has an MSRP of €249 for European customers, which some might consider a tad bit higher if we compare it with the cheaper 27-inch IPS QHD gaming monitors now available. Moreover, they also don't have the same pixel density the Q24G2A offers (123 vs 108 PPI).

The Q24G2A/BK offers all the usual features for the modern speedy gaming enthusiast, such as Adaptive Sync (plus G-SYNC compatibility), a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a 4ms G2G response time (1ms MPRT), and a maximum brightness of 350 nits. The VESA-compliant ergonomic stand features height, tilt, and swivel adjustment. AOC's new gaming monitor should be available soon, but its product page is not yet available. However, the related downloads section is still live.
