Warcraft Rumble launches in November

Last Summer, Blizzard announced its first Warcraft mobile game, Warcraft Arclight Rumble. Things have been quiet since then but the game is now back, now known as simply Warcraft Rumble, and it will be available soon.

Almost a year and a half on from the game's original announcement, Blizzard has confirmed plans to launch Warcraft Rumble on the 3rd of November for both iOS and Android devices.

Warcraft Rumble is a strategy action game, where players will build small armies using miniature versions of Warcraft units. These armies will be headed by a ‘leader' character, and you'll be able to collect new leaders and units as you progress through the game. There will be both multiplayer and a 70-mission long single-player campaign.

The game goes live the same day that BlizzCon kicks off, so we can expect a few more Blizzard announcements before the year is done.

KitGuru Says: I'll give this a go when it drops but I don't have much hope that the game won't heavily favour microtransaction spending. Given the launch timing, there may be bonuses tied to the game for BlizzCon attendees or stream watchers too.

Despite positive reviews from those that have given the game a chance, Marathon has reportedly only shifted an estimated 1.2M copies so far, with the vast majority of that coming from the PC market.
