Until Dawn reportedly getting PS5 remaster

Last week we reported that Until Dawn, the 2015 PlayStation 4 exclusive would be getting a film adaptation. It seems as though Sony is going all-in on returning to the IP, with a PS5 remaster of Until Dawn said to be announced soon.

As reported by known insider Billbil-kun via Dealabs, Sony looks set to announce a PS5 remaster of Until Dawn within the next two weeks – likely at the same event where they will show off Death Stranding 2 (whose full name leaked just a couple days ago).

According to the report, the Until Dawn remaster will simply be called ‘Until Dawn’ and is planned to be coming to both PS5 and PC. That said, it is currently unknown whether Sony plans to release the game across both platforms simultaneously.

No release date was provided, though the game has seemingly been in development for at least a year – and considering the fact that it is a remaster, hopefully a release date for Until Dawn is not too far away.

KitGuru says: What do you think of Until Dawn? Are you looking forward to the remaster? Could this be building up to a sequel? Let us know down below.
