Turtle Beach reveals Vulcan II XP Air wireless mechanical keyboard with gesture controls

Turtle Beach has announced the Vulcan II XP Air wireless mechanical gaming keyboard alongside the wired Vulcan II XP. These are both low-profile keyboards, with hot-swappable switches and sound dampening materials to remove unwanted clicks and clacks. 

The wireless Vulcan II XP Air offers tri‑mode connectivity with 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth and wired USB‑A support. A 6000mAh battery provides up to 95 hours of use with RGB lighting enabled, or up to 2000 hours with lighting and sensors disabled. The board also features Turtle Beach’s AirTrack Gesture Sensor, allowing touch‑free hand movements for media control and automatic RGB dimming when the user steps away from the desk.

The wired Vulcan II XP removes wireless hardware and gesture tracking but adds switch options, offering Titan HS Red linear or Brown tactile variants rated for 50 million actuations. Both keyboards include full NKRO, anti‑ghosting, ReacTap SOCD support, Easy‑Shift[+] key mapping, a multi‑function media wheel and onboard profile storage through Swarm II software. The wired model is available in black or white.

Turtle Beach has priced the Vulcan II XP Air at $199.99 / €179.99 / £169.99, while the wired Vulcan II XP comes in at $149.99 / €129.99 / £119.99. Both are available for pre‑order ahead of their October launch.
