Cooler Master’s latest monitor offers a flat 240Hz mini-LED experience

Cooler Master has announced an interesting new monitor – the GP27QP. This new 27-inch monitor uses Mini-LED technology, and offers a very smooth 240Hz refresh rate for gamers.

The GP27QP's 27-inch VA panel offers a resolution of 2560×1440, a contrast ratio of 2500:1, and a 5ms GtG response time (1ms MPRT). Gamers will appreciate the inclusion of Adaptive Sync technology, which minimises screen tearing and stuttering. Other features include Low Blue Light mode, anti-flicker technology, PiP, and PbP.

One of the standout features of this monitor is its Mini LED backlighting, which divides the screen into 1152 individual zones, providing precise brightness adjustments and enhanced contrast across various viewing environments. While boasting a typical brightness of 350 nits for SDR content, the GP27QP's brightness can peak at up to 1000 nits for HDR content.

Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPorts 1.4, and a USB-C port with Power Delivery (PD) support of up to 96W. The monitor also functions as a USB hub, featuring a USB-B upstream connector and three USB-A ports. The GP27QP's ergonomic options are pretty decent. It comes equipped with a fully adjustable stand offering a height adjustment of up to 150mm, tilt ranging from -5° to +20°, swivel ±30°, and the ability to rotate the screen up to 90°. VESA 100×100 mounting mechanisms are also supported.
