After 10 years in development, Lost Soul Aside is finally launching this May

Starting development all the way back in 2014 as a one-man project, Lost Soul Aside has been eagerly anticipated by many thanks to its Final Fantasy Versus XIII (later FFXV) inspired visual design and flashy action combat. Over the years, the game’s ambitions grew, and so did the team, sitting at around 40 developers today. Finally, after almost a decade of waiting, Lost Soul Aside is officially launching in May.

Announced during the most recent State of Play, Sony and Ultizero Games offered a new look at the action RPG ‘Lost Soul Aside’ alongside confirmation of its long-awaited release date.

A full breakdown of the new trailer, alongside combat, story and more can be found HERE, but the most notable part of the announcement came with its launch date – set to arrive on PS5 and PC on the 30th of May. Preorders will go live on the 17th of February for £59.99.

Considering the fact that for many years Lost Soul Aside felt like pure vapourware, it is exciting to see this long-awaited title finally launching in just a couple months.
