AOC has introduced its latest flagship gaming monitor, the Agon Pro AGP497UCZD. The new 49-inch ultrawide display with a UL TrueBright-certified QD-OLED panel pairs Double QHD resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1800R curvature to target both gaming and professional setups.
According to the spec sheet (via DisplaySpecifications), the Agon Pro AGP497UCZD features a 32:9 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 5120x1440p. The panel delivers a typical brightness of 250 nits in SDR, climbing to a peak of 1000 nits at 3% APL in HDR. AOC rates the display with a 1,500,000:1 static contrast ratio and a 0.03ms G2G response time. Colour performance is another focal point, with the company claiming 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 98% Adobe RGB coverage, along with factory-calibrated DeltaE < 1 accuracy. As you would expect, it supports HDR too, with DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.
Connectivity features dual HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 2.1 input, and a USB Type-C port supporting DP Alt Mode and 90W power delivery. An integrated KVM switch coordinates multi-device workflows alongside additional USB 3.2 ports and audio outputs. Built-in audio is handled by two 8W speakers with DTS Virtual:X support.
