BenQ announces PD2732U 27-inch 4K Creative Pro monitor

BenQ is expanding its Creative Pro monitor portfolio with the introduction of the PD2732U, a 27-inch 4K display designed for creative professionals. The colour-accurate monitor features 99% Adobe RGB and 99% DCI-P3 coverage, targeting graphic design, photography, video editing, and print workflows.

The PD2732U delivers 100% sRGB coverage alongside the other wide colour gamuts. Featuring a Nano Matte coating, the panel offers 4K resolution, 400 nits of typical brightness, a 60Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour depth, and a 5ms GTG response time. Each unit arrives factory-calibrated with an included report, achieving an average Delta E < 2 to ensure immediate out-of-the-box accuracy. BenQ uses its AQColor technology to ensure screen uniformity, consistency, and corner-to-corner brightness. The monitor is independently Calman Verified and Pantone Validated, including Pantone SkinTone validation.

Workflow management is handled via software utilities, including AQColor Pilot for hardware and software calibration, which will launch in early August. Another utility, Display ColorTalk, matches colours across multi-monitor setups. Physical connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4 for single-cable video, data, and power delivery, along with daisy-chain support. Hardware features also include a smart KVM switch to control multiple systems and a wireless hotkey puck for rapid menu adjustments.

Apple ecosystem integration is supported through multiple modes. Specifically, M-book mode matches colour profiles to Mac displays, while iDevice Color Sync previews content on iPhone and iPad. Users can also manage brightness and volume levels directly through Mac keyboards using iKeyboard Control. BenQ has already opened pre-orders for the PD2732U, which comes at $699.

KitGuru says: If you're looking for a 4K professional monitor for colour-sensitive applications, this new BenQ monitor could well be exactly what you need.
