Following recent rumours, MachineGames has officially announced their latest Quake project. The studio had previously brought new levels to Quake 2. This time around, they've gone back to add new levels to the original Quake.
Quake: Dawn of the Machine was announced during QuakeCon this week. This new episode brings 19 new levels to the game, along with new sountrack music, a new deathmatch map and a bunch of new secrets to find.
Dawn of the Machine will be made available as a free update for current digital versions of Quake found on Steam, Xbox / Windows Store, Nintendo Switch, and PS4 / PS5.
Quake was named as one of the new pillar franchises for Bethesda after a restructuring effort across Xbox. Quake was named alongside the likes of Doom, Wolfenstein, The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.
