Dead by Daylight studio working on Sci-Fi shooter

Behaviour Interactive has gotten plenty of mileage out of its main game, Dead by Daylight, but soon the studio will be branching off into new genres. According to newly discovered job listings, the studio is now hiring for a new Sci-Fi game.

As spotted by Insider Gaming, new job listings at Behaviour Interactive have gone live, with the company seeking to fill senior roles for a “triple A Sci-Fi FPS” game built using Unreal Engine 5.

It is unclear if this game will be self-published like Behaviour Interactive's other main titles, including Meet Your Maker and Dead by Daylight. We also don't know how far along this project is, so it could be quite some time before it is ready to be officially announced.

Aside from this Sci-Fi game, Behaviour Interactive is also working on another shooter, Exterminauts, which puts small groups of players up against alien creatures on distant planets.

KitGuru Says: Exterminauts has some Sci-Fi elements, but it would appear that Behaviour has two distinct Sci-Fi shooters in the works now.
