Tamriel Online is a mod aiming to bring co-op to Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has enjoyed a very long life on the PC, which is largely down to the insane amount of mod support the game has received since its launch. However, there is one thing missing from Skyrim- your friends. Right now, The Elder Scrolls is a single-player only title, with no way to explore the world with a friend fighting beside you.

However, Tamriel Online is looking to change that. Right now, all we know about the mod is that rather than turning Skyrim in to an MMO style affair, it is aiming to turn it in to more of a co-op experience.

As you can see from the video, everything is still a work in progress. Right now, you can see what armour or weapons your friend has equipped but there can be some delay between each character's reactions. Additionally, while you can walk around the world together, you can't watch each other fight or quest together just yet, although these are features being worked on.

Right now, the mod creator wants people to help test his work in order to figure out what needs improving the most and squash out any bugs. There is a Reddit threat containing the download links as well should you want to try this mod out, which you can find, HERE.

KitGuru Says: There have been more than a few occasions where I have wished I could quest through Skyrim with another person in the world with me. Hopefully this mod can eventually bring that dream to life.
