Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Remnant II and Horizon Forbidden West get Intel XeSS

The list of games supporting Intel XeSS keeps growing, with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Remnant II, and Horizon Forbidden West being the latest titles to support Intel's upscaling technology.

Previously, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora only supported Nvidia DLSS 2 and AMD FSR 3. However, with Intel XeSS, it's positioning itself as one of the select few games in the market to embrace all major upscaling technologies. The latest update (3.2) now supports XeSS, giving users another upscaling alternative. The specific version of XeSS remains unspecified. The game's console versions have also received a new 40FPS mode.

Similarly, the Complete Edition of Horizon Forbidden West has also been updated to integrate XeSS. In Horizon Forbidden West, players will have access to XeSS 1.3, the latest version of the technology that promises better upscaled visuals. This patch also added an “Interface Text Size” option in the general settings menu and introduced improvements to texture streaming to reduce memory usage and improve quality.

Lastly, in addition to adding DLSS 3.7 support, the latest update for Remnant II has also introduced official support for Intel XeSS 1.3. Furthermore, the update encompasses various tweaks, fixes, and changes, including cross-platform friend invites and in-game joining, alongside balance adjustments for enemies, items, and weapons.
