While the Lord of the Rings universe is rich with stories; lore; characters and more (all of which are perfect to be adapted into video game form), the franchise has struggled to release a quality game in quite some time – with its most recent high being the 2014 open-world ‘Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor’.
