Jobs, Schmidt and Zuckerberg to meet Obama

Apple CEO Steve Jobs, Google CEO Eric Schmidt and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg Are going to be meeting up with President Obama in San Francisco Thursday evening.

Obama will be holding an event to meet to meet up with business leaders in technology and innovation.

“The president and the business leaders will discuss our shared goal of promoting American innovation, and discuss his commitment to new investments in research and development, education and clean energy,” a White House official said.

Google CEO Schmidt has said that he was ‘very, very proud' of Google exec Wael Ghonim who helped to organise the Egypt protests that results in President Mubarak leaving office.

GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt, who has been named as the new chairman of the White House Council on Jobs and Competiveness, will also be attending the event. Many brains will be picked and we can be sure that the press will do their best to get as much information as possible from the meeting.
