Acer launches new Predator QD-OLED gaming monitors starting at £699

Acer is ending off the month with one more big launch. Today, Acer announced two new QD-OLED gaming monitors, offering 4K at 240Hz, and the other offering 1440p at 240Hz.

With QD-OLED panels, the new Acer Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1 monitors will offer perfect black levels, vibrant colours and ultra-fast pixel response times. The X32 is a 32-inch 4K monitor, while the X27U is a 27-inch QHD monitor – but both offer a full 240Hz refresh rate and low 0.03ms response time (GTG).

Both monitors also offer HDR, so supported games will offer even brighter highlights and greater contrast. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology will allow your GPU to synchronise the monitor's refresh rate with your graphics card to eliminate things like screen tearing as well. By offering both DisplayPort and HDMI 2.1 connections, the monitors are perfect for both PC gamers and Xbox Series X/S or PS5 owners.

The Predator X32 X2 will be available in the UK and Europe starting in August, priced from £999. The Predator X27U X1 will be available in the UK and Europe in June, from £699.
