Database issues and some downtime

After receiving many emails I wanted to apologise if anyone has been experiencing issues today and yesterday evening. We performed what we thought was a routine backup yesterday and encountered some problems. At first we thought Faith, our drunken news hound had spilt her vodka over the server.

The site has been inaccessible at times and the forum is currently undergoing some maintenance, we may have lost some files, but hopefully they can be restored as soon as possible.

Hopefully we will get things back on track shortly, sorry for the inconvenience.
