If George Lucas directed the new Star Wars trailer…

While it was no Jurassic World, the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has been setting the internet afire over the past few days, but clearly it was missing a few things. Like extraneous and unnecessary CGI, random things taking up half of the shot, more tie fighters and something to push the plot along. Hmm, what about trade negotiations?

Thank god we have fictional George Lucas to save the day for us:

Quite an impressive turnaround for Youtube TimTimFed, who managed to get this trailer out there just two days after the official Force Awakens trailer was released. As accurate as it feels though, fortunately it’s not a reality. Lucas isn’t anywhere involved with the directing of this movie, just some of the character writing.

Well, at least we know the tie fighters shot first

Of course you could easily poke fun at Mr Abrams methods of filmmaking too, as successful as he’s been as of late. Just add lens flares to everything.

KitGuru Says: This silly trailer aside. Who’s excited by the actual Force Awakens trailer? Did anyone else think the light sabre guard was a bit odd?
