Chieftec unveils the new Scorpion 3 and Hawk cases

Chieftec has added two new products to its extensive case portfolio. These cases are the Chieftec Scorpion 3, and the Chieftec Hawk with tempered glass.

According to Guru3D, the new Scorpion 3 case is the latest model to be added to the Scorpion line of cases, succeeding the Scorpion 2.

Equipped with four A-RGB rainbow 120mm fans (3 on the front and one the back), the Scorpion 3 RGB LEDs can be synchronised using your motherboard's software, such as ASRock Polychrome, MSI Mystic Light, Asus Aura, and Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0, or the included RGB control hub and remote control if your motherboard doesn't support RGB software. You can also add up to 2x 120mm fans or a 120/240mm radiator on the top, or swap the triple fan configuration on the front with a 120/240mm radiator.

Measuring 436×202.5x490mm (LxWxH) and weighing 6.9Kg, the Scorpion 3 supports Mini ITX, mATX, and ATX motherboards, CPU coolers with up to 166mm in height, GPUs with up to 349mm in length, and PSUs with up to 200mm in length. There are 2x USB3.0 (USB3.1 Gen1), 1x USB2.0, 1x Audio-out (AZALIA/HD-Audio) jack, 7x expansion slots, and 3x dust filters (1x on top and 2x on the bottom). There are also multiple drive bays to hold your storage devices: 2x 2.5-inch and 2x 3.5-inch on a removable HDD tray.

The new Hawk model comes without fans, but there's compatibility to add up to 3x 120mm fans or a 120/240mm radiator at the front, and 1x 120mm fan or a 120mm radiator at the rear. The front panel is made of aluminium, and there's a detachable dust filter for the front intake and another two on the bottom.

The tempered glass edition of the Hawk case comes with 2x 2.5-inch bays, 2x 3.5-inch bays (removable HDD tray) and 1x 5.25-inch bay and 7x expansion slots. It supports Mini ITX, mATX, and ATX motherboards, CPU coolers with up to 166mm in height, GPUs with up to 349mm in length, and PSUs with up to 200mm in length.

Regarding connectivity, there are 2x USB3.0 (USB3.1 Gen 1), 1x USB2.0, 1x 3.5mm Audio-out (AZALIA / HD-Audio) jack, and 1x 3.5mm microphone jack.
