Thermaltake launches Divider 500 chassis with customisable two-part side panels

Thermaltake is expanding its case portfolio with four new options. Available in black and white, the Divider 500 cases offer either an airflow-oriented front panel with the TG Air or a tempered glass front panel with the TG ARGB Edition.

The highlight of these cases is their side panels. Instead of being just plain tempered glass panels, each of them is divided into two triangles. The bottom triangle is a glass panel that can be replaced with a steel panel, while the upper glass triangle can be swapped out with a vented steel panel for additional airflow.

The TG Air case comes with two pre-installed 120mm fans and a perforated front panel with T-shaped intake cut-outs, while the TG ARGB case features four pre-installed 120mm RGB fans and a front glass panel. Both cases have a PSU shroud, dust filters, and include a GPU bracket to mount the GPU vertically.

Cooling support is quite extensive, supporting up to 3x 140/120mm fans in the front, up to 2x 140/120mm fans in the roof, 2x 120mm fans on the right panel, and a 120mm fan at the rear. As for radiators, it can house a 360/280mm in the front, a 280/240mm radiator in the roof, a 240mm radiator on the right side, and a 120mm radiator in the rear.

These cases have seven expansion slots and space for up to 7x 2.5-inch drives or 2x 3.5-inch and 5x 2.5-inch drives. Supported motherboards include ATX, Mini-ITX, and Micro ATX form factors and GPUs can be up to 390mm long, unless there is a radiator mounted in the front. Moreover, these cases also support up to 220mm long PSUs (no HDD cage) and 170mm tall CPU coolers when using both tempered glass triangle panels.
