As is almost expected by now, the specifications of the upcoming generation of Intel Core desktop processors have been leaked ahead of the official announcement. The lineup will include 14 models with up to 24 cores and 5.8GHz clock speeds, a record high for Intel CPUs.

Wccftech got ahold of some tables listing all 13th Gen Core desktop chips, as well as the key specifications. Much like the 12th Gen Core ‘Alder Lake' series, Raptor Lake (13th Gen Core) will use a hybrid architecture with performance and efficiency cores. Compared to its predecessor, 13th Gen parts will offer more efficiency cores, and maximum clock speeds have also increased.

As you can see in the images above, the 13th Gen Core desktop series will consist of 14 SKUs. These will be divided into K, non-K, F, KF and T series, where those with a “K” are unlocked, and the ones with an “F” don't feature an iGPU. Moreover, the unlocked parts also come with higher TDPs than the others, while the “T” series chips have the lowest TDPs of the stack. All chips support DDR4-3200 and DDR5-5600, except for the Core i5-13400, which “only” runs DDR5-4800 natively (though it can run higher-clocked memory in OC mode). In addition, only i9 SKUs (except the i9-13900T) support Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB).

The flagship processor is the Core i9-13900K/KF, packing 8x P-cores and 16x E-cores. Through TVB, it can go up to 5.8GHz in a single P-core, but the all-P-core frequency is locked at 5.5GHz at stock. For those that still want top performance while saving a bit of cash, the Core i7-13700K/KF could be worth checking out. Peaking at 5.4GHz and featuring 8x P-cores and 8x E-cores, the i7-13700K/KF will likely be a best-seller for Intel fans. Lastly, the i5 chips are led by the Core i5-13600K/KF with 6x P-cores peaking at 5.1GHz and 8x E-cores. Considering the higher clock speeds of the other 13th Gen Core chips, the i5 “K/KF” CPUs will probably be the ones with more OC headroom.

Intel 13th Gen Core desktop CPUs are expected to be presented at the Intel Innovation event on September 27-28th.
