Intel ‘Tiger Lake-H45’ Core i9-11950H emerges on Geekbench 5 database

It looks like there will be more Tiger Lake-H45 SKUs than we initially thought. A previous leak that we shared showed that there would be two Intel ‘Tiger Lake-H45' Core i9 CPUs, but a new entry on Geekbench 5 database suggests otherwise.

As per this Geekbench 5 entry for an HP ZBook Studio G8, the Tiger Lake-H45 line-up might come with a third Core i9 processor — the Core i9-11950H. Featuring an 8C/16T core configuration, the entry shows the processor has a base clock of 2.6GHz and a boost clock of 4.9GHz. This newly discovered Core i9 also comes with 10MB of L2, and 24MB of L3 cache.

As you can see here, the processor frequencies ranged from 3.17GHz to 4.55GHz during the benchmark, meaning that the i9-10950H did not run at its maximum boost clock in HP's upcoming laptop. However, it still scored about the same as the Intel Core i9-10850K in the single-core tests, and similar to the Core i5-10600 in multi-core tests.

We expect to learn more about the new Intel ‘Tiger Lake-H' processors soon, as some laptop manufacturers have already started to tease new models featuring the upcoming CPUs.
