Ryzen 9 7950X and Ryzen 5 7600X Geekbench results leak

AMD's new Ryzen 7000 series processors have just been announced. In the lead up to release, some have managed to gain early access to samples, leading to benchmark leaks. This week, several entries for the Ryzen 5 7600X and Ryzen 9 7950X have appeared on Geekbench.

The Ryzen 5 7600X (1, 2, 3) Geekbench results spotted by Benchleaks show the processor running on an MSI MEG ACE X670E motherboard. As for the scores, the chip got between 2,092 and 2,174 points in the single-threaded test, while the multi-core score was in the 11,332-11,432 range. Compared to the benchmark's top single-core performer, the Core i9-12900KS, AMD's upcoming mid-range CPU is 1-4% faster. In terms of multi-core performance, it's equivalent to the Core i5-12600KF.

The Ryzen 9 7950X Geekbench run had the processor mounted on an Asus ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme motherboard with 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory. With a 2,217 single-core score, the Ryzen 9 chip is 7% faster than the Core i9-12900KS. In the multi-core test, the flagship Ryzen processor scored 24,396 points, putting it between the 32C/64T Threadripper 3970X and the 64C/128T Threadripper 3990X.

These Geekbench scores loosely match the figures AMD said to expect during the Ryzen 7000 reveal event.
