Asustek unveils small GeForce GTX 960 for ITX builds

Asustek Computer has introduced its new GeForce GTX 960 graphics card that is designed for small form-factor desktop personal computers. The Asus GeForce GTX 960 Mini graphics board combines rather high performance, small dimensions and relatively affordable price.

The Asus GeForce GTX 960 Mini (GTX960-MOC-2GD5) sports 1253MHz GPU clock-rate, 2GB of 7GHz GDDR5 memory, high-quality components, DVI, HDMI and three DisplayPort outputs. The graphics adapter features one six-pin PCIe power connector and dual-slot cooling system to provide overclocking headroom. The graphics board uses an innovative thermal design that combines a heat-spreading vapor chamber and the CoolTech Fan, which uses wide-angle airflow and venting to cool critical graphics card components.

The length of the graphics card is just 17cm, therefore, it can be installed even into small mini-ITX systems. Thanks to relatively high performance that Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 960 provides, Asustek’s graphics card has all chances to become popular among gamers, who prefer ultra-small personal computers.

Pricing of the Asus GeForce GTX 960 Mini is unknown, but do not expect it to be too high.

KitGuru Says: The new graphics card from Asustek is not the first one from the company that is designed for mini-ITX systems. However, the Asus GeForce GTX 960 Mini is the first small form-factor graphics board to offer truly high performance at a relatively affordable cost.
