For our temperature testing, we measure the peak GPU core temperature under load. A reading under load comes from running Cyberpunk 2077 for 30 minutes.

As for thermal performance, there isn't a whole lot between the three cards we have tested. The Palit GameRock OC saw peak GPU temperatures around the 63C mark, which is a very good place to be, with the hot spot running at 73-74C. There's also very little difference between the Performance and Silent BIOS, as despite the names, the fan curve is almost identical between the two as we will see shortly.
