Cooler Master Oracle Air NVMe M.2 SSD Enclosure Review

The Cooler Master Oracle Air's two-piece design seems to work well at keeping a drive cool, even when that drive is being pushed hard during benchmarking. The bundled WD Blue SN570 averaged 33°C for the nine benchmarks with a maximum temperature of 45°C in the AS SSD benchmark, some 25°C below the maximum temp of the drive.

Using a Gen4 drive saw the average rise to 35°C, halfway to Samsung's drive's 70°C maximum with an average maximum temperature of 44°C for the nine benchmarks.
