EVGA shows off Z170 Classified K motherboard

Today, EVGA officially introduced its latest motherboard, the Z170 Classified K, boasting next-generation features, support for extremely high-speed RAM, USB 3.1 and 4-way SLI.  On top of that, EVGA has made some changes to board layout and equipped it with the latest GUI BIOS that focusses on functionality for enthusiasts.

Key features include a next generation Intel Z170 Express Chipset with DDR4 3600MHz+ memory support, which should ensure high-performance for this motherboard. Two SATA Express ports, up to eight SATA 6G ports, two USB 3.1 and two M.2 ports provide robust storage and I/O options while 4-way SLI support will make this motherboard appeal to graphics enthusiasts.

Built in Killer Ethernet helps to prioritize and reduce network latency and then there is the usual batch of overclocking features that EVGA is known for as well. The EVGA Classified K motherboard will retail for $289.99 in the US though UK pricing and availability is also expected soon.

KitGuru Says: There are a lot of solid motherboard options out there for those looking to make the jump to Skylake/Z170. Are any of you planning on building a new rig soon? What motherboard are you thinking of going for?
