Seasonic had a few new power supplies to show off at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, with a wide variety available. As well as fleshing out its Titanium range, it’s also introduced new Core and Focus models, which have a more general usage target audience.
Making sure that the Titanium line up has a full catalogue for fans to choose from, there are new Platinum and Gold efficiency units so that users can feel as green as possible while building their new monster-rigs. Those Titanium PSUs come in fancy new casings, with improved internal hardware for added stability.
Along with the Titanium units, the new Focus series is set to arrive at some point in the second quarter of 2017 and will be available in modular and semi-modular forms. Set to go on sale with a range of mid-tier wattages (450w – 750w) the Focus series is designed to compliment the more powerful Titanium series and offer a more affordable path to high-quality, Seasonic power.
At the entry level Seasonic plans to introduce its new Core series of units. These will also have modular or semi-modular cabling choices and wattage options around the mid-range, even if the idea is to make the Core series perfect for bulk system builders.
To compliment these new ranges, Seasonic is also introducing a new AitTouch series, which has a fancier outer casing design and uses a brand new fan-control system.
