MSI GT75 TITAN 8RG-201 Gaming Laptop: Core i9/GTX 1080 BEAST!

SSD Performance:

CrystalDiskMark tests the raw speed of a storage device. It uses a test file to write data to or read data from the drive. We test using the default 1GB file size.

MSI's Super RAID 4 means the two NVMe 256GB drives in this laptop provide some extremely fast speeds thanks to the RAID 0 configuration. We've included the quoted speeds for a Samsung 960 EVO in our graph just for a quick comparison.  The Super Raid 4 drives easily beat out the 960 EVO in read and write performance. However, it is worth considering the increased risk of data loss due to that RAID array.

Cinebench R15 Scores:

Cinebench R15 is a cross-platform testing suite that measures CPU performance. We compared the MSI GT75 Titan 8RG with some other laptops in the MSI range that feature different processors to see just how much extra performance you get from the i9-8950HK.

The Cinebench score from this laptop is very impressive. You can see the huge performance gain compared to the other processors, and with a score of 1344 the i9-8950K beats out many high end desktop processors as well. Single-core performance is also excellent with a score of 186. This laptop has all the rendering performance of a desktop PC in a smaller form-factor.
