Asus Republic Of Gamers Tytan CG8580 System Review (i7/GTX680)

To measure power consumption we used a calibrated power meter which was attached directly to the system power adapter, excluding all external devices including the monitor. We loaded the last test in 3DMark 11 to measure potential system load.

At idle, the system demands around 82 watts of power, this rises to 283 watts when running the final ‘combined' test in 3Dmark 11.
