OCUK Titan 300i Fiato 4.4ghz System Review

Ambient noise in the room is around 20-25dBa. We measure from a distance of around 1 meter from the closed chassis and 4 foot from the ground to mirror a real world situation. Why do this? Well this means we can eliminate secondary noise pollution in the test room and concentrate on only the video card. It also brings us slightly closer to industry standards, such as DIN 45635.

acoustics performance
The OCUK Titan 300i Fiato isn't the quietest system we have tested. There is always some level of audible fan noise. When loaded, the Corsair cooler can be easily heard.

Due to feedback on the Corsair fan noise, OCUK say they are moving to an Asetek OEM unit. They are also opting for Noiseblocker BlacksilentPro 120mm fans to provide high cooling levels but with lower noise levels.

This change happened after we received this system for review however, so we can't accurately tell you how much quieter the system will be if you buy from OCUK directly.
