Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has won the Best Game prize at the 22nd British Academy Games Awards. The ceremony saw the RPG from Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive secure three awards in total after entering the event as the most-nominated title of the year.
The British Academy confirmed that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 also earned the Debut Game award, while Jennifer English won Performer in a Leading Role for her portrayal of Maelle. AdHoc Studio’s Dispatch, which received nine nominations, also secured three wins, including Performer in a Supporting Role for Jeffrey Wright’s work as Chase.
Other technical and artistic honours were distributed across several 2025 releases. Ghost of Yōtei secured two awards for Technical Achievement and Music, while Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was recognised for Artistic Achievement. In the ongoing and creative categories, No Man’s Sky was named the winner for Evolving Game, and South of Midnight received the award for New Intellectual Property. The 2026 ceremony also highlighted Atomfall as the winner of the British Game category and Lego Party! as the Family Game winner.
